Importing from BlackBerry backup
You can import data into B-Folders Desktop Edition from a variety of
applications. Since each application has its own ideology, data format
and data representation, B-Folders endeavors to preserve the semantics
of
the original data, but not the representation.
IMPORTANT: Importing data into B-Folders from other
applications creates a lot of new items. Since syncing hundreds or even
thousands of these could be quite slow over a network connection, we
recommend syncing imported data over a USB cable – the fastest
sync method.
B-Folders can import MemoPad, Contacts and Tasks data directly from
backup files (.bbb) created by BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1.
Importing the backup file in B-Folders
- Select the File > Import Data menu item.
- Select BlackBerry backup and press the OK button.
- Select the backup file and press the Open button.
- You should see an information dialog and the items will have been
imported into an Imported Data folder.
