Importing from Palm Desktop 4.2.1 for Mac
Memos and addresses should be exported in separate Tab & Return files with all fields included.
Exporting memos as a Tab & Return file
- Select File > Export menu item.
- On the Export dialog:
- Select Module > Memos
- Select Items > All is selected
- Select Format > Tab & Return
- Select Columns > All
- Choose a folder and provide a name for the exported file and press Export button
Exporting addresses as a Tab & Return file- Select File > Export menu item.
- On the Export dialog:
- Select Module > Addresses
- Select Items > All is selected
- Select Format > Tab & Return
- Select Columns > All
- Choose a folder and provide a name for the exported file and press Export button
Importing the Tab & Return file with memos in B-Folders- Select Options > Import Data menu item.
- Select Palm Desktop Memos Tab&Return with all fields (4.2.1 for Mac) and press OK button.
- Select the file and press Open button.
- You should see an information dialog and the memos will be imported in an Imported Data folder.
Importing the Tab & Return file with addresses in B-Folders
- Select Options > Import Data menu item.
- Select Palm Desktop Addresses Tab&Return with all fields (4.2.1 for Mac) and press OK button.
- Select the file and press Open button.
- You should see an information dialog and the addresses will be imported in an Imported Data folder.
