JointLogic Web Designer

Requirements

• Operating system - Windows or Linux (Linux version is still in Beta!)
• JRE 1.4.2 or newer
• One of the following Eclipse with WTP combinations:
  - Eclipse 3.1 with WTP 1.0
  - Eclipse 3.2/Callisto with WTP 1.5
  - Eclipse 3.3/Europa with WTP 2.0
  - Eclipse 3.4/Ganymede with WTP 3.0 (Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers)
  
  

Installation

Using JointLogic Update Site - recommended

1. From the Eclipse menu bar, select Help > Software Updates > Find and Install...
2. Select Search for new features to install and press Next.
3. On theUpdate sites to visit page, press New Remote Site... button.
4. In the New Update Site dialog provide JointLogic Update Site for name and http://www.jointlogic.com/downloads/updatesite for URL.
5. Ensure that JointLogic Update Site is checked and press Finish button.
6. In the Search Results page expand and select Web Designer and press Next button.
7. Accept the license agreement to continue and press the Next button.
8. Press the Finish button and on the Feature Verification page press Install All button.
9. On the Install/Update dialog press Yes button to restart the workbench.

Using archived site downloads

1. Download jointlogic.webdesigner.win32.win32.x86-1.5.0.zip or jointlogic.webdesigner.gtk.linux.x86-1.5.0.zip
   
2. From the Eclipse menu bar, select Help > Software Updates > Find and Install...
3. Select Search for new features to install and press Next.
4. On theUpdate sites to visit page, press New Archived Site button.
5. Browse for the downloaded  archive file.
   
6. Ensure that newly added archive is checked and press Finish button.
7. In the Search Results page expand and select Web Designer and press Next button.
8. Accept the license agreement to continue and press the Next button.
9. Press the Finish button and on the Feature Verification page press Install All button.
10. On the Install/Update dialog press Yes button to restart the workbench.

Getting started

From the Eclipse menu bar, select Help > Help Contents and browse the JointLogic Web Designer topic.
